On the beautifully sunny day of May 18, 2008 roughly 2,500 Partylite consultants and their guests, from across the continental United States and Canada, were aboard the Carnival fun ship Liberty, finding their staterooms, unpacking their bags and waiting anxiously for the ship to leave the dock in Miami.  After several months of hard work the time was here at last to enjoy this much earned seven day cruise to the Caribbean!  Soon the Liberty would pull away from the Miami dock and begin making it's way to Nassau, Bahamas, it's first stop of three on this wonderful PartyLite vacation.

Nassau was wonderful.  Consultants chose to relax on the beach, shop the Straw Market, wander through town or rent Segways to tour the island.  Some opted to visit the Atlantis Resort and rekindle old memories!  After a warm, but breezy, afternoon everyone returned to the ship to unload their wares, stop for one of many snacks offered on the Lido deck or try out the pool and twisty slide.

Day two was spent doing all mannor things that are offered on the Liberty.  Among the favorite activities were the casino, Lido deck with it's Caribbean band and cool breezes, the sports bar or strolling the deck enjoying the views.

Day three the ship weighed anchor off the shore of Grand Cayman.  Guests were shuttled to and from the island by tendor ships that ran at regular intervals.  Once again, consultants chose many different activities to take part in.  The snorkling was fantastic, as were the water trampolins and snorkling adventures.  The island tour stopped at a sea turtle farm (where many got the chance to hold a live sea turtle!), the home of Tortuga Rum Cakes and Spirits and, of coure, Hell (the place, not the state of mind!) where post cards could be purchased and mailed with a "Hell" postal stamp.

What would a Caribbean cruise be without a stop at Cozumel, Mexico?!  What a beautiful island!  Activies ranged from a day at the beach, complete with drink, food and any other manner of entertainment to renting jeeps and touring the island sans tour guide.  Some opted for a self tour of the Mayan ruins of San Gervasio.  Whatever the activity, everyone was happy with their day!

One more day at sea, to rest, shop, gamble, miniature golf or play a game of basketball.  No matter what the choice there were wonderful sea breezes and fantasticly blue water to enjoy!

Back in Miami and "real" life!  After this awesome vacation I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't work just a little harder, and plan just a little better to be on the next PartyLite vacation.  I hope to see you all there next year!!

Congratulations to these hardworking girls of the HeavenScent Region, who planned to work and worked their plan, in order to earn the 2008 PartyLite incentive trip:
